With great power comes great responsibility. With great responsibility comes ridiculous guilt complex.
The Amazing Spider-Man returned home after a very grueling day of web-spinning, crime fighting and being chased and misunderstood by the police. He was wiped out. At last, he could be plain old Peter Parker and get some much-deserved rest. After all, with great power comes great responsibility, which includes taking care of your wellbeing. It also includes doing the dishes, but Peter Parker was far from perfect.
Within one minute after getting under the covers, Peter Parker was fast asleep drooling and snoring with the proportionate strength of a spider.
Eight hours later, he woke up in a panic. His spider senses were off the hook, caterwauling like a hyena with a staple in its paw. He was late for work. Again!
On the upside, he got eight hours of solid sleep. He must have needed it. Sometimes, getting rest is the most responsible thing you can do.
On the other hand, keeping a steady job is a responsibility in itself. Then again, so is eating a healthy nutritional breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day.
An hour later, after a hearty bowl of oatmeal with a slightly rotten banana, Peter Parker found himself in a very long unemployment line.
