These months are zipping past me like wrens with extreme short attention spans, which is to say all the wrens and all the months, for they are all so stupid. And now, a mash up.

Initially, today’s post was going to feature a gaggle and combination of words when accumulated properly would have summed up to a short story or long thought. All that changed, upon receiving an email from Rhino Records®. Today is the 40th anniversary of the release of The Cars debut self-titled album.
I remember first hearing “Let The Good Times Roll” on the radio and being mesmerized by the over-produced harmonies and blend of synthesizers and guitars. I was hooked. I bought the album immediately. It was pop bliss, an updated version of Buddy Holly.
