2020 was a horrible year. But to be fair, it was an accumulation of everything that has happened since Richard M. Nixon. It is what happens with nearly 50 years of accumulating raw sewage backing up without any improvements to the infrastructure.
On the other hand, in the middle of a raging pandemic, Taylor Swift released two albums, which goes to prove that there is still a glimmer of hope and capitalism on the other side. Happy New Year!

At the risk of DJ-splaining, a medley is a varied mixture of people or things; a miscellany, like a bag of frozen mixed vegetables or a 4 AM tavern. (Remember those?)
To mash up is to mix or combine two or more different elements, like a bag of miscellaneous meat parts and a bag of frozen Asian style vegetables. In this case, by definition, the following qualifies as both a medley and a mash up.

You either love or hate Michael McDonald. Rare is the in-betweener who says that Michael McDonald is just okay. The reason is his very unique vocal styling similar to eight owls hooting in unison or a train entering the far end of the tunnel. I appreciate the way the microphone gets lost in his beard.
