Providing the lyrics, T.S. Eliot, post modernist poet, famously known for the Broadway smash, “Cats”. Famously known for possibly being an on again off again anti-Semite.

On the other hand, Syd is a one-time member of the hip hop collective known as Odd Future. Many people don’t know this, but Syd is actually Sydney Loren Bennett.

Is it possible these two entities can coexist on one song? Is it possible to hear the tension between these two opposite idealists? The answer is concise, maybe.
