I never realized how much Rush and Diana Ross & The Supremes had in common until I forced them to coexist on the same plane of music. They are both power trios. They are from Canada. They are Black. They have many fans. They are old. The only apparent difference is that Geddy Lee has a higher singing voice than Diana Ross & The Supremes.
It does not get any more authentic than this without reviving corpses from the dead. A show tune classic interpreted by Diana Ross imposed over the haunting riff created by the lovable Ghostface Killah and his pal, Adrian Younge. That being said, Happy 4/20 all you all.
Truth is rarely found in the art form known as song. Sometimes it just takes a mash up to discover and unlock the inner beauty of a lie.
