In 1978, I saw Pablo Cruise, The Steve Miller Band and Eagles at Comiskey Park. Upon further research, this event was on August 19, and tickets were twelve dollars. It’s hard to say whether those were the golden days, or that we currently live in a suck greedy hell world.
This is another entry whence two songs, sometimes, three, four, five, rarely six, become one. The kids call it the mash up. In fact, I call it the mash up. Yet, I am not the kids.
I must confess, I am miffed by the absence of “Prompt Of The Day” from the host of this blog, WordPress.com. What the hell is up with that?

I have an annual ceremony which began in 1985. I celebrate Memorial Day by playing the worst music I own. Songs like “Policeman” by Chicago and “Him” by Rupert Holmes. Somehow, this gives greater weight to the great, the greatest veterans, who fought for this country and especially for my right to listen to garbage. Let there be mash up!
