My disdain for Thompson Twins began on September 24, 1982. I was at the Aragon Ballroom to see Joe Jackson on the Night And Day tour. As the anticipation grew, the lights went down, and Thompson Twins took the stage. I was horrified as three stupid “new wave” haircuts began to prance around, out of sync on stage with tambourines and cowbells while a live band accompanied them from behind a screen. As they played on, I hoped that someone would pelt them into unconsciousness, anything to stop this ridiculous posturing. Thank God, Joe Jackson’s set washed that horrible taste out of my mouth.

“Kids On A Crazy Train” by OZZY OSBOURNE Vs. MGMT

In 1980, Ozzy Osbourne unleashed “Crazy Train” on an unsuspecting world, and no, that is not some wild euphemism. Decades later, he would offend the same unsuspecting world with a reality television show about his dysfunctional family. Other notable events, he was in Black Sabbath, he bit the head off a few bats, and he attempted to kill his wife. I’m not a gambling man (I am), but I would bet the bank that he’s got a reserved parking space in hell.
In 2007, MGMT gave us “Kids”. At the risk of sounding callous, beyond that, who cares? Really. There’s more important things happening in this world than knowing what limp MGMT is up to. Case in point, they released a new album in February 2018 to an uncaring audience.
In 2018, DJ Sung Mo Koo enforces an “Ebony And Ivory” sort of thing with the following mash up. Do some math!
“The Complicated Joker” by AVRIL LAVIGNE Vs. STEVE MILLER BAND

Current president of the United States, “Dripped On” Donald Trump, continues to embarrass humankind. It has become more than obvious that he is a mere puppet to ex-KGB leader, Vladimir “Poot Poot” Putin. It wouldn’t surprise me if he wrote Trump’s poignant speech, “Bing, bing, bang, bang, boong.” For surely, “Dumbo” Donald’s impressive vocabulary does not include this sort of playfulness. Evil idiocy is sad.
“Let’s Get It On Out The Frame” by MARVIN GAYE Vs. THE ALCHEMIST

After watching highlights of the current president of the United States, “Drought-mouth” Donald Trump, speaking to his base in Montana, I was more than outraged. I have seen this tired greatest hits rant before, and the very little new material he worked in was nothing short of lame. It is apparent that he needs writers, and in turn, maybe they can help him learn a thing or two about comedic timing. “Build The Wall” will never be as funny as “How Fat Was She?”. Yet, I am ashamed to admit this, “Lock Her Up” is.
It is always a desperate act when a comedian, no less a president, goes blue. Not only was Tungsten Trump horrendous, he spewed an anti-MeToo statement and actually got laughs from his audience. That is probably the most offensive thing. If he wasn’t who he was, The Sandman from Live At The Apollo would have definitely swept him off the stage. Pathetic.
