Before there was Insane Clown Posse, GWAR and Donald Trump, America’s current president, there was Kiss. Today we study what happens when the world of glame (a combo of glamour and lame) band Kiss and too soulful Marvin Gaye converges.
One man trying to entertain himself is walking down the street listening to Gladys Knight & The Pips as loud as he possibly can on headphones. Another man is approaching him listening to George Michael on headphones. As often happens in these situations, they collide. One indignant man says, “You’ve got your Gladys Knight in my George Michael.” The other man slaps him hard across the face. True story.

Larry Fine squinted, revealing all his age lines, 427 to be exact, as he limped out of the car and up the front steps. Each step made pain shoot sharply through his 70 year old body. “Ow, ow, ow!” one of his many catchphrases echoed through his mind. He tugged at the bottom part of his pant leg, it was clinging to his socks, not only was it static, it was annoying as all hell. It was Christmas in L.A., 65 degrees and sunny, not that it mattered. Ask anyone and they will tell you that Larry Fine was soberly Jewish through and through. He had still retained his curly kinky hair, and in this light, it looked like two ragged tumbleweeds attached to the side of a perfectly decent bald head.
In 2003, Jay-Z released The Black Album. Flash forward to 2018, and I have mashed up the whole album under the working title “The Bumblebee Project”. I am yellow, Jay-Z is black, bumblebees are yellow and black, but so are the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here, for your entertainment, is the final installment, number 11 of 14. Collect them all.
