With absolutely no particular agenda, it is Marvin Gaye and B.J. Thomas coexisting in the playing field called mash up. In one corner, weighing in at 600+ measures, the vivacious vocal styling of Marvin Gaye singing “Got To Give It Up” and in the other corner, the B.J. Thomas tune, “Hooked On A Feeling” sans B.J. Thomas. In fact, I doubt he plays a lick of an instrument on this recording. [FACT CHECK: He did not.]
Here’s something atmospheric, and it’s not the girth of Alfred Hitchcock’s misogyny. (If he were alive today, the press and public would not be kind to him.) It’s a mash up I should have posted on Halloween. Jay-Z meets Ray Parker Jr. with “Who You Gonna Call? Encore!” or grammatically correct, “Who Are You Going To Call? Encore!”.
The more I write, the more mistakes I make. It’s sad and inevitable, like sexual assault. With power comes abuse and ludicrous advances, it’s just the way people are wired. Whoever said the meek shall inherit the earth, they were on cheap crack. I hope the following errors did not cause any inconveniences.
Fred mumbled and grumbled as he tapped the spoon against the hard-boiled pterodactyl egg in front of him. His toe was still red and throbbing. “Damn newspaper boy and all the news fit to print on a stone tablet rassafrass, too old for this.” As he stretched, every bone in his body creaked. He slept on the front porch again last night, while the cat slept at the foot of the bed. His throat was sore from screaming Wilma all night. Apparently, Wilma is a sound sleeper. One day, he will figure it out, and save his voice.
