The more I write, the more mistakes I make. It’s sad and inevitable, like sexual assault. With power comes abuse and ludicrous advances, it’s just the way people are wired. Whoever said the meek shall inherit the earth, they were on cheap crack. I hope the following errors did not cause any inconveniences.
Fred mumbled and grumbled as he tapped the spoon against the hard-boiled pterodactyl egg in front of him. His toe was still red and throbbing. “Damn newspaper boy and all the news fit to print on a stone tablet rassafrass, too old for this.” As he stretched, every bone in his body creaked. He slept on the front porch again last night, while the cat slept at the foot of the bed. His throat was sore from screaming Wilma all night. Apparently, Wilma is a sound sleeper. One day, he will figure it out, and save his voice.

I’ve said it before, and I’m sure I’ll say it a thousand more times, there is not a good racial slur for the white man. It is unfortunate that we must settle for honky. By definition, I, Sung Mo Koo, Korean and not black, cannot technically use the word. I suppose there is cracker, white trash, whitey, redneck, hillbilly, hick, Yank, bumpkin, peckerwood, and other lame jabs, but let’s face it, none of these words have the impact to harm and hurt.
The calm in the small to tiny room was unsettling. Two strangers with opposite agendas standing face to face. Erratic breathing, one from a deviated septum, it is whimsical like rattling blinds in a windowless room. Not a word had been spoken, which is typical boneheaded behavior for men, and this only heightened the tension.
